Bethany Refugee and Immigrant Services Community Winter Fest

Bundle up and bring friends and family to the Community Winter Fest at Detach Primitive on January 22nd, 2023. There will be something for everyone, and all are welcome!

Drop in anytime between 2-5pm, but please note that the guided goat hike tour will begin at 3pm and the Q&A will begin at 4:15pm. If you plan to walk the campground trails, please wear appropriate shoes/boots.

What can I do?

-Goat hike at 3pm

-Hot cocoa making in Detach’s Yurt

-Bundle up by the campfire

-Ice skate (if the pond is frozen and safe)

-Snowshoe (first come first serve, please feel free to bring your own)

-Walk the trails and check out Detach’s A-frames and underground Hobbit home (map will be provided and trails are marked). You’ll also learn about refugee and immigrant services along the way.

-Meet Bethany refugee and immigrant staff, foster parents, and volunteers: Q&A will begin at 4:15pm

-Learn about program needs and ways to get involved
