Garden Party

Join LGROW and their partners as we hold a block party to celebrate the watershed! American Rivers and LGROW will have information about the Rainscaping for Businesses program as we highlight the work that La Casa de La Cobija has done to green their business space. West Michigan Environmental Action Council (WMEAC) will have a Rain Barrel Workshop to teach about stormwater conservation and for ticketholders to keep their newly assembled rain barrels. Plaster Creek Stewards will give walking tours of the nearby curb cut rain gardens, and Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is hosting a tree pruning maintenance event in the neighborhood. We will have fun, games, and food for the entire family!
No registration necessary, please come whenever is convenient for you and your family during this event. This event is free, and food will be available on a first come, first served basis.
