March 8th is International Women’s Day. Honor, acknowledge, and celebrate women’s voices and stories with us through films by women and about women. This screening features the documentary, MORE THAN I WANT TO REMEMBER, the story of fourteen-year-old Mugeni Ornella’s journey for safety, family, and home. Mugeni’s participation in our programs, wisdom, and the experiences she shared with us shaped our programs to better serve youth in foster care and prepare foster parents. Mugeni’s story shows that youth are not just clients or numbers, they are innovators and future leaders.
